Project Summary
New (ICT) technologies and (control) strategies can much improve the efficiency and effectiveness of logistic chains and networks. One can think of strategies such as “web-based collaborative planning” with intelligent agents: through a totally different way of planning the system sources are used much more effectively. This is elaborated from supply-chain level upto traffic level (“congestion avoiding planning, dynamic slotting”).
